Eligible brides and grooms (U.S. Naval Academy alumnus, military staff, faculty member, or local active duty military member) may host a breathtaking wedding at the any of the USNA Chapels, followed by a reception at the Naval Academy Club, or at many of the other venues on the Yard.

After 22 coed years, the academy still struggles to regulate the urges of college-age men and women. Despite the rules — no sex with a freshman, no sex on campus — midshipmen regularly fall in love, have sex and sometimes get caught.
What happens if a cadet gets pregnant?
A cadet or midshipman who becomes pregnant will be allowed to take up to one year off with no penalty. A full-time care provider must be chosen who will provide for the child while the cadet or midshipman is enrolled in the academy. The caregiver must have power-of-attorney or guardianship rights.

Welcome Aboard the Yard! Visitors to the Naval Academy must enter through the Visitor Access Center at Gate 1, Randall St. and Prince George St. Pedestrian entrances to Gate 1 can be found on Randall Street (between Prince George and King George Streets) and on Prince George Street at Craig Street.
Normally dogs are allowed on the grounds of the Naval Academy, as long as you stay along the perimeter of their property.
